1. 约伯回答说， Then Job answered and said,
2. 无能的人，蒙你何等的帮助！膀臂无力的人，蒙你何等的拯救！ How you have helped him who is without power! How you have saved the arm of him who is without strength!
3. 无智慧的人，蒙你何等的指教；你向他指示的智谋何其多！ How you have counseled him who is without wisdom And have plentifully declared sound knowledge!
4. 你向谁发出言语？谁的灵从你而出？ To whom have you uttered words? And whose spirit has come forth from you?
5. 阴魂在诸水以下战兢，住在水中的也是如此。 The deceased are made to tremble Beneath the waters, and those who inhabit them.
6. 在神面前阴间赤露敞开，灭亡之地也无所遮掩。 Sheol is naked before Him, And Abaddon has no covering.
7. 神将北极铺在空中，将大地悬于虚无之上； He stretches out the north over the void; He hangs the earth upon nothing.
8. 祂将水包在密云中，水下的云却不破裂。 He binds up the waters in His thick clouds, And the cloud is not rent under them.
9. 祂遮蔽自己的宝座，将云铺在其上； He covers the face of His throne; He spreads His cloud over it.
10. 在水面画出圆圈为界，作为光暗的交界。 He drew a circle on the surface of the waters As a boundary of the light and the darkness.
11. 天的柱子因祂的斥责震动惊奇。 The pillars of heaven shook And were astounded at His rebuke.
12. 祂以能力平静大海，祂藉聪明打伤拉哈伯； By His power He stilled the sea, And by His understanding He struck down Rahab.
13. 藉祂的气使天晴朗；祂的手刺透快逃的蛇。 By His Spirit the heavens became beauty; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.
14. 看哪，这些不过是神作为的些微；我们所听于祂的，是何等细微的声音！至于祂大能的雷声，谁能明了呢？ Indeed, these are but the fringes of His ways; And how small a whisper do we hear of Him! But as for the thundering of His mightiness, who can comprehend it?
